Autumn Pitchure

Autumn joined the WWMT team in December 2022 as a reporter. Previously, she worked as a reporter at WLNS 6 News in Lansing, Mich. for almost two years.

While Autumn was at 6 News, she covered major stories like the 2022 primary and midterm elections, inflation hitting the shelves, and abortion protests at the Michigan Capitol.

Autumn is originally from Battle Creek. After graduating in 2017, she started her journalism career at Grand Valley State University where she received her bachelor's degree in Multimedia Journalism in 2021.

In college, Autumn reported and anchored for her university’s broadcast news program West Side Stories. Autumn also had several internships, most notably Local Spins.

When Autumn is not at work, she enjoys walking her two dogs (Mocha and Allie), playing tennis, decorating her house and cooking.

Autumn is excited to serve West Michigan and is always on the lookout for story ideas and other ways to be involved in the community. Send her an email at
