Allie Jennerjahn

Reporter

Allie joined the WWMT team in October 2021 as a Multimedia Journalist. Before coming here, she worked as an MMJ for FOX28 in Savannah, Georgia for a little over a year.

While reporting for FOX28 she covered major stories including the Murdaugh Murders, a court hearing for Ahmaud Arbery’s alleged killers, the country’s first COVID-19 vaccine clinical trial and an investigation into an in-custody death.

Allie is originally from Harford City, Indiana where she started a morning broadcast for her high school. After graduating in 2016 she headed to Syracuse University to begin her major in Broadcast and Digital Journalism at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. Her minor is in Political Science.

While in college Allie had several internships, the most notable being at NBC’s Today. During her senior year she traveled the country creating a mini-TV series aimed at answering one question: What would New York State look like if recreational marijuana were to be legalized?

Allie has earned multiple awards for her collegiate reporting and is eager to earn more in her professional career.

When Allie is not at work, you can find her exploring local restaurants and boutiques and searching for Kalamazoo’s best green tea latte.

She’s excited to get to know the area and its people. Feel free to reach out on social media or through email: aljennerjahn@sbgtv.com
