Lane closures, traffic delays possible in downtown Kalamazoo for building construction
KALAMAZOO, Mich. —
Traffic is along Michigan Avenue near Park Street saw significant back-ups in downtown Kalamazoo on Friday.
A spokesperson for the city said there will be intermittent lane closures because of construction on the Kalamazoo Exchange building.
Traffic along Michigan Avenue was reduced to one lane past Westnedge Avenue on Friday and drivers were at a complete stop on a green light.
Drivers should be aware that lane closures are possible, as work on the 15-story building is expected to wrap up in the summer.
