Search continues for missing teen on Muskegon River
OSCEOLA COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- Crews resumed the search for a boy that fell through the ice in Osceola County.
Osceola County Sheriff deputies were called to a possible drowning around 5 p.m. Thursday near the 50th Avenue bridge just south of River Road in Sylvan Township on the Muskegon River.
Osceola County Sheriff Justin Halladay said a 14-year-old, 15-year-old and 16-year-old fell through the ice. Two teens were able to make it back to shore, but crews are still searching for the 15-year-old boy.
A small boat and sonar equipment was used Friday to help law enforcement search for the boy.
Mid State Oil Tool donated piping to help in the search.
