Company who makes bump stocks set to shut down operation, website
MORAN, Texas —
The maker of bump-stocks is getting ready to shut down it's website.
After May 20, Slide Fire Solutions will no longer take orders for the accessory that makes semi-automatic weapons mimic automatic weapons.
Last year in Las Vegas, a gunman using bump stocks killed 58 people and injured hundreds more at a country music festival.
After the attack, Slide Fire came under intense scrutiny. The company is also currently facing a lawsuit related to the mass shooting.
