Woman accused in deadly hit-and-run crash pleads guilty
KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A woman arrested and charged for a deadly hit and run crash involving a WMU student has pleaded guilty.
Morgan Rowley entered the plea ahead of her scheduled trial in November.
Kalamazoo County investigators say the 22-year-old was three times the legal limit when she hit Nic Heil, while he was jogging along KL Avenue, in Oshtemo Township back in May.
Rowley is expected to be sentenced in December on two felonies, including operating a vehicle while intoxicated causing death.
Before sentencing, Rowley and Heil's families will reportedly attend 'healing sessions.'
