Victim not cooperating with police after shooting in Battle Creek


BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Police are trying to figure out what sparked a shooting in Battle Creek overnight.

Officers said a 23-year-old man was dropped off at Bronson Battle Creek around 1:45 a.m. with gunshot wounds. He was transferred to Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo in stable condition.

The victim was being uncooperative with police, but investigators said they were able to locate a possible shooting scene near Eldred Street and Southwest Capital Avenue.

Anyone with information is asked to call Battle Creek Police Department or Silent Observer.
