Three people injured in overnight stabbing in Grand Rapids

The Grand Rapids Police Department is investigating after three people are injured in a stabbing (WWMT/MGN Online).

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A suspect is facing charges in connection to a stabbing in Grand Rapids.

It happened on Lyon Street between Monroe and Ottawa just after 3:00 a.m. Saturday morning.

Grand Rapids Police tell us when they got there, they found two people who had been stabbed.

A short time later, a third victim showed up at the police department with a stab wound.

All three are expected to be okay.

Police said they have arrested a suspect but it's unclear what led up to the stabbing.

The incident remains under investigation.
