South Haven's Ice Breaker Festival attracts creativity and frozen fish
SOUTH HAVEN, Mich. —
The 25th annual Ice Breaker Festival is happening this weekend in South Haven, and the streets are filled with ice sculptures, chili tasting and lots of winter fun.
Today, spectators cheered for their team at the annual cardboard sled race, where participants were allowed to make their sleds out of only cardboard and duct tape.
Some people got creative with their sleds, spending hours building them!
The Ice Breaker Festival also hosted their first frozen fish fling, where contestants would compete to see who could toss a frozen fish the furthest distance.
The South Haven Ice Breaker Festival runs through Sunday, Feb. 3.
