Sheriff: Man arrested after firing gun during domestic dispute
CLARE COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- A Clare County man was arraigned on multiple weapons charges after barricading himself in his home following a domestic dispute.
A woman called 911 reporting the man she lives with had shot his gun in their home during a domestic dispute, according to Clare County Sheriff's Deputies.
Deputies were called to the home in the 9000 block of Davey Street in Garfield Township and found Ronald Moore barricaded inside the home with a firearm.
After several attempts to negotiate, Moore finally left the home with his 9mm pistol in hand, deputies said.
Deputies reported Moore made threats of killing himself and forcing law enforcement to defend themselves.
He was eventually taken into custody and no one was injured.
Moore was charged with firearms discharging in or at a building, two counts of felony firearms, two counts of assault prison employee, assault with dangerous weapon, weapon possession while under the influence and domestic violence.
Moore is still in the Clare County Jail with bond set at of 10 percent of $70,000.
