Sex trafficking complaint filed against two Battle Creek men
BATTLE CREEK, Mich. —
A federal child sex trafficking complaint was filed against two men from Battle Creek.
Michael Clayton and Ramiro Hernandez, Jr. also face drug, weapons and child porn charges.
Newschannel 3 first told you about this story two weeks ago, when we learned two people had been arrested on human trafficking charges at a home on Lakeview Avenue.
Tonight, we learned the alleged victim's father called 911 on October 5.
He told police his 16-year-old daughter texted him, and said she was being held hostage in a home on Lakeview Avenue and that her captors were going to kill her.
Police said Clayton and Hernandez forced the girl to do drugs and have sex with them and other men for money.
A federal judge signed off on warrants for their arrest Thursday.
