Police say weather made arrest of domestic violence suspect complicated

    City of Wyoming police officers said weather and an uncooperative suspect made an arrest challenging Wednesday.

    Police said a man, accused of domestic violence involving a long gun, refused to surrender.

    As a result, multiple officers were called to the scene on the 2000 Block of Roos Avenue southwest. Burton Avenue, between Godfrey and Clyde Park were closed to traffic until the situation was resolved.

    Police said the weather complicated an already difficult situation.

    The suspect was taken into custody.
