BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Battle Creek Police are investigating a shooting early on the Independence Day holiday.
Police said a man showed up at the hospital just after 2 a.m. Wednesday morning with gunshot wounds. He was taken to another area hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
BCPD believe the 28-year-old Battle Creek man was shot at a gas station on West Michigan Avenue and North Kendall Street.
At this point, officers said no one is in custody and they do not have a suspect description.
