Police investigate body found in Kalamazoo; death believed due to natural causes

Sgt. David Moran, with the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety, said this morning that investigators believe the person found in a Cork Street home died of a natural death. However, the department plans a full investigation.


Kalamazoo Public Safety is investigating after a body is found in a home.

Police responded to a home in the 1400 block of Cork Street near Portage Road around 6 a.m. Wednesday morning.

KDPS tells Newschannel 3 there was a body of a man found inside the home. Officers tell us it appears he died of natural causes but they are still carrying out a full investigation.
