Police identify man killed during Gull Road hit and run
KALAMAZOO, Mich. —
Police identified the man killed during a hit-and-run collision on Wednesday night.
Kalamazoo Township police found Noah Mickaels, 40, of Kalamazoo, dead after he was hit by a black vehicle at 5:57 p.m. in the 2200 block of Gull Road.
The vehicle fled the scene and should have damage to the front, especially a front light.
"Our hearts go out to the family in this tragic time," Kalamazoo Township Lt. Scott Jackson said. “We’re constantly distracted. I want to remind people to be very cautious when driving during the holiday season, especially when dark falls upon us sooner.”
Police said they have few witnesses at this time.
