Former women's health doctor Mark Walker digitally penetrated three patients while making sexual comments to the women during gynecological exams, according to Calhoun County court documents.

The alleged sexual assaults happened from 2002 to 2014 or 2015, while Walker worked at Mansion Street Women's Health at Oaklawn Hospital in Marshall, investigators said.

Walker, 58, is charged with three counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct.

“All of the accusations claim that the assaults occurred while being seen as a patient," said Kris Ambrose, deputy chief at the Marshall Police Department.

The most recent accusation among the new charges Walker faces happened between 2014 and 2015, according to Calhoun County court documents.

A woman told police she felt Walker was trying to sexually stimulate her during pelvic exams.

The woman was 20-years-old at the time, according to Marshall police.

She told police that after having appointments with other gynecologists, she knows her exams with Walker weren't normal, according to court documents.

A second woman accuses Walker of sexually assaulting her in 2011, when she was 38-years-old.

Walker allegedly came into the exam room before a nurse and said, "I see that you have had a breast augmentation, let's see."

He then opened the patient's gown and stared at her breasts, according to court documents.

The woman told police Walker was touching her as if he enjoyed it.

Walker made a comment during a pelvic exam, referring to the strength of her vaginal muscles, according to the woman's interview with police in court documents.

The third sexual assault accusations comes from a woman who says she was sexually assaulted in 2002, when she was 26-years-old.

Pregnant at the time, she went to Walker for a checkup to see if she was dilated, court documents said.

She told police Walked used at lease two fingers to do the exam and made comments like, "I'm going to get things stirred up in here to try and get things started," and "Your husband needs to get in here and do his job."

"The hardest part about investigating these cases is finding people willing to come forward, this is a sensitive topic," Ambrose said. “We just wanted to make that we did everything we could correctly the first time, especially coming off the Larry Nassar case."

These three women came forward after Walker was charged with fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct in 2019, according to the Marshall Police Department.

In that case, a 16-year-old girl from Marshall accused Walker of groping her. The case is still pending in court.

Walker's medical license was suspended back in 2019.

He is scheduled to appear back in court in August for hearings in both the 2019 case and these recent charges.
