Ottawa County divers find body of missing teen in Lake Michigan

HOLLAND, Mich. — The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office Dive Team recovered the body of Christian Ngabo, 17, in Lake Michigan.

Deputies from the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office said Ngabo's body was found around 9 a.m. Monday after about two hours of searching.

Ngabo was one of two people who went missing in Lake Michigan on Saturday, June 6, 2020. The other, a 6-year-old, was found dead on Sunday.

Ottawa County deputies said the investigation into Ngabo's death would remain open pending an autopsy; however, they didn't suspect foul play.
