In just one week, visitors of Detroit’s Cobo Center will be witness to the North American International Auto Show, and some of the old favorites that will be on display at the show made their way through West Michigan Friday as an early preview.

The Drive Home IV vintage truck rally hosted their collection at the Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners Friday morning.

The rally’s 10-day journey across the country will end Saturday at the auto show in Detroit.

“We want to keep vintage cars in the public eye. We want people to see them, to enjoy them. To make the point they need to be driven,” David Madeira from America’s Automotive Trust said.

The truckers started their trip in Houston and will make a stop in the Birmingham/Troy area before making their way into Detroit.
