Motorcycle crash sends woman to the hospital in Ottawa County
OTTAWA COUNTY, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A woman is recovering in the hospital after the motorcycle she was riding on collides with a deer in Ottawa County.
It happened around 8:30 p.m. Friday night near Lakeshore Drive and Fillmore Street in Port Sheldon Township.
Deputies said a 58-year-old man and 59-year-old woman, both from Spring Lake, were driving when their motorcycle hit a deer.
The woman was thrown from the vehicle.
She was taken to the hospital, but is expected to be okay.
The man who was driving the motorcycle was not hurt.
They both were wearing helmets.
