CALHOUN COUNTY, Mich. — Former Marshall gynecologist Mark Walker was denied a request to leave the state.
Walker asked permission to leave the state to attend a marketing conference in Florida for two weeks.
District Judge Tracie Tomak denied the request, saying Walker cannot leave the state unless every judge overseeing Walker's case approves the request.
Walker was charged with three counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct on July 29 and an additional charge of first-degree criminal sexual conduct on Dec. 22.
Walker has been out on bond while awaiting trial on cases involving six victims who accused the former OBGYN of sexually assaulting them during pelvic and breast exams at his former practice before it closed in 2019.
His trial is scheduled to begin in June.
