COOPER TOWNSHIP, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Deputies are left trying to piece together what happened moments before a stabbing in Kalamazoo County.
It happened around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 5500 block of Collingwood Avenue, off Riverview Drive, in Cooper Township.
Deputies said they got a call a man arrived at Borgess Hospital with a stab wound to the abdomen. He had emergency surgery and is in stable condition.
After an investigation, authorities determined the victim got in a fight with someone, and was stabbed. He then drove himself to the hospital about an hour later.
