The search for a man accused of robbing a business is now over, according to the Three Rivers Police Department.

The armed robbery happened around 11:10 a.m. Friday morning, at a business on Michigan Avenue between Grant Avenue and Lincoln Avenue.

The suspected entered the business, obtained an unknown amount of currency, and fled the scene on a bicycle, police said.

An observant citizen was able to pass along the direction the suspect went to dispatch, police said.

Several law enforcement agencies assisted in searching for the man, who appeared to be in his late teens or early twenties, police said.

After serving a search warrant at a Michigan Avenue home, a suspect was taken into custody without incident Friday night, police said.

They did find evidence of the crime at the home, near South Main Street, police said.
