Man injured in hit and run while shoveling snow Monday night

    A man was hit by a pick up truck in front of his Blendon Township home Monday night, according to Ottawa County deputies.

    They said the victim was standing in a Port Sheldon Road lane, snow blowing his driveway when he was hit by the red truck.

    Witnesses said the red truck stopped briefly, but then drove off.

    He was then taken to Zeeland Community Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
