Man dies after falling into Lake Michigan from watercraft near Holland

PARK TOWNSHIP, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) — Ottawa County Sheriff's Department confirmed a 23-year-old man died Sunday after falling from his watercraft into Lake Michigan in Park Township.

The incident happened just after 3 p.m. at Lakeshore Drive and Quincy Street north of Tunnel Park.

The man was found by emergency responders face down and not moving in the water. A deputy entered the water and pulled the man to shore. He was taken to Holland Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
