Alleged drunk driver critically injured in rollover crash near South Haven

A driver is seriously injured after a rollover crash near South Haven.

CASCO TOWNSHIP, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Michigan State Police are investigating after a rollover crash sends a man to the hospital in Allegan County.

It happened just after midnight on 66th Street near 106th Avenue in Casco Township.

Police said a pickup truck was traveling southbound when it went off the road and rolled over in a corn field. They said the driver, identified as Tony Brush, was not wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash and was ejected from the vehicle.

He was taken to Bronson Hospital in South Haven with life-threatening injuries.

Right now, officers believe alcohol did play a role in the crash.

The incident remains under investigation.
