GALESBURG, Mich. — A man was arrested after crashing into a Galesburg home Wednesday morning.
The car landed into Tracy Mitchell's son's bedroom, leaving a hole in the wall.
"I hear somebody coming down the road fast, and I mean it woke me up. I could hear the car coming and all of a sudden I heard the crash and yelled out for my son," Mitchell said.
“And a car came barreling through the house.”
Mitchell said her house has been hit four times since a nearby road was reconfigured four years ago. She said before the project, she lived in the home for three years without any crashes.
This was the second time in 2019 that someone crashed into the home, she added.
OWI charges were requested for the driver Wednesday.
