Kalamazoo County Fights Hunger Fund helps feed homeless Friday at Bronson Park
KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Several homeless people in Kalamazoo were given free meals thanks to some generous donors.
On Tuesday the Kalamazoo County Fights Hunger fund requested donations, and Friday they turned that money into meals.
They served breaded shrimp, french fries, and coleslaw to those in need in Bronson Park.
"We need to address the issue of hunger not only in the city of Kalamazoo, but the county, and really the state of Michigan," said Pastor William Stein, with Kalamazoo County Fights Hunger.
