Kalamazoo business awarded the 2019 TechHome Mark of Excellence Award at CES

    Kalamazoo-based Automation Design + Entertainment, a leading systems integration company, was awarded the 2019 TechHome Mark of Excellence Award in the Luxury Home category between $150,000 and $300,000, at a ceremony during the Consumers Electronic Show (CES) in Las Vegas on Wednesday,

    Modern Lakefront Oasis, the winning project, was chosen by a panel of judges from the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) to be one of the finest projects out of this year’s entries.

    The modern home features a pool deck, beach area and car barn feature with extensive audio, video, lighting, shading, climate and security systems, all of the systems controlled by an elegant Elan g! system controller.

    “We were honored to be able to work alongside a talented interior designer, architect and builder along with a great team of gifted tradespeople,” Peter Cook, owner and president of Automation Design + Entertainment, said in a release. “The homeowners were wonderful to work with and it was incredibly rewarding to work with this team to create such a beautiful outcome, an innovative hi-tech home that is as elegant as it is easy to use.
