The Michigan Department of Transportation reports the closure at Michigan 51, the Decatur exit. The crash was reported to the department just before 6 p.m.

Michigan State Police said the crash resulted in some diesel spill at the site and it will take a while for that to be cleared away.

Westbound motorists are encouraged to exit the interstate at Paw Paw, then use the Red Arrow Highway before returning to I-94 via the Lawrence exit at mile marker 52, state police said.
