KALAMAZOO, Mich. — A "Toast in South Town" happened in Kalamazoo in celebration of the opening of a new Burdick Street Hospital Hospitality House on Friday.
The Burdick Street Hospital Hospitality House that resulted from a $4.8 million capital campaign and a donated site from Bronson.
Hospital Hospitality House Executive Director Judy Markusse-Paget talked about the building.
The new 7,000 square foot building can accommodate 17 overnight guests and has 24-hour staffing.
Since opening its doors, the Hospital Hospitality House has welcomed more than 36,000 guests from throughout Michigan, all 50 states and 26 countries.
