BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Fire officials are investigating after flames break out inside a home in Battle Creek..
It happened on Myrtle Avenue just after 3:00 a.m. Saturday morning.
When crews arrived on scene, they said they found fire and smoke coming from the kitchen.
Firefighters were able to put out the flames quickly and nothing else inside the house was damaged.
We're told everyone who was inside the home at the time of the fire made it out safely and no one was hurt.
Right now, it's unclear what sparked this fire.
