FBI investigating bank robbery in Byron Center
BYRON CENTER, Mich. —
Kent County authorities are searching for a bank robbery suspect.
A man walked into the Huntington Bank, 2365 84th St. SW, in Byron Center around 1:30 p.m. Friday, drew a nickel colored revolver, pointed it at the teller and demanded money.
Deputies said the man left with the money, rode a bicycle northeast and got into a maroon Chrysler Pacifica.
The suspect was wearing a Vans hat, a grey or blue long sleeve shirt with a black short sleeve shirt, khaki cargo shorts and bight white shoes. He had a dark bandana over his face and sunglasses.
No injuries were reported.
Huntington Bank is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect or suspects.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation is handling the case and anyone with information is asked to call the FBI or Silent Observer at (616) 774-2345.
