UPDATE: Eastbound I-94 reopened following semi fire

UPDATE: MDOT tells Newschannel 3 the road is now reopened and traffic is moving freely in both directions.

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) – Kalamazoo County dispatch confirms that I-94 Eastbound is shut down between mile marker 72 and mile marker 66.

A semi fire has caused Eastbound I-94 to be shut down between the 9th St. exit and the Mattawan exit.
