CALHOUN COUNTY, Mich. — Calhoun County deputies said they arrested several people following a drug trafficking investigation Wednesday morning.
The arrests were made in the city of Albion and Sheridan Township.
A large scale warrant execution was made with help from the Albion Department of Public Safety, after detectives were led to several homes.
One of the locations, in Sheridan Township, was within the 1600 block of East Michigan Avenue. Several grams of heroin were found along with cash. A 37-year-old Albion man was arrested at the scene and lodged at the Calhoun County Correctional Facility for Possession of Heroin with Intent to Distribute.
Officials said a quantity of methamphetamine was located at another location, which was within the 1200 block of Hillside Road in Albion.
The final warrant was served within the 600 block of Cherry Street in Albion where Deputies located a quantity of crack cocaine.
Calhoun County officials said Thursday the joint investigation was still undergoing, with more arrests expected to occur.
