KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Dozens of people were evacuated from Bronson Methodist Hospital and Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety were on the scene after a small fire.
People were standing outside of the East entrance after an evacuation when a sterilizer machine caught fire on the second floor of the hospital about 11 p.m. Wednesday.
The fire was quickly contained by a fire suppression system and firefighters responded.
Firefighters started letting people back into the hospital just after 11:30 p.m. Wednesday.
There were no reports of injuries.
