Do-Dah Parade steps off Saturday in downtown Kalamazoo
KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The whacky, mythical and downright creative characters of Kalamazoo are coming out for one wild parade Saturday in Kalamazoo.
This will be the 34th annual Do-Dah Parade in the city of Kalamazoo.
Around 60 groups will take part in the parade through downtown, having some silly fun along the way.

The parade steps off at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
The route runs:
- Portage and Lovell
- West on Lovell
- North on Park
- East on W. Michigan
- South on Portage to Lovell
These roads will be closed from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The following road closures will be in effect between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. for staging:
- Portage Road between Lovell and the Portage-Pitcher Connector
- Jasper Street between Lovell and Walnut
- Lovell St. between Portage St. and Pitcher
