UNION CITY — Troopers from the Michigan State Police Marshall and Coldwater posts are searching for an unknown number of suspects who allegedly broke into a Union City business and stole cash, a pistol and other items.
Troopers with MSP were dispatched to Ed's Auto in Union City at approximately 9 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 29 after reports of a breaking and entering. After further investigation, troopers were able to determined an unknown number of suspects forced their way into the business between 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 28 and 9 a.m. on Saturday.
Suspects reportedly took $220 in cash, a .380 caliber pistol and a DVR box to the business's internal surveillance system.
