KALAMAZOO, Mich. — A Kalamazoo resident, 26, was arrested for an alcohol-related driving offense after their car crashed into a liquor store early Thursday morning.
Kalamazoo Public Safety officers responded to the 3100 block of South Westnedge Avenue at 12:30 a.m. on a report of a crash.
When police arrived, they found a vehicle had driven through a wall.
The driver tried to flee on foot, but officers detained the driver.
The Kalamazoo resident was arrested for the hit and run along with an alcohol-related driving offense.
No one was injured, according to police.
