Victim of fatal Wyoming crash identified as 28-year-old man

UPDATE: Wyoming police confirm 28-year-old Mychael Broyles of Wyoming has died after this morning's crash near Byron Center Avenue and Knollview SW.

Wyoming Department of Public Safety responded to the single-vehicle accident around 2:30 a.m. According to police, the vehicle driven by Broyles lost control and struck a tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The roadway was shut down for nearly five hours and police indicate that speed and alcohol are likely factors in the crash.

Byron Center Avenue was closed Friday morning for a serious crash.

The road is closed from 44th Avenue south to Ancient Drive in Wyoming.

Dispatchers told Newschannel 3 this is a serious crash, but it is unclear how serious the injuries are or how many cars were involved.
