UPDATED: Body found in a parked vehicle in Kalamazoo

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) – Kalamazoo police are investigating after a body was found in a parked truck Tuesday afternoon.

Police were called to a parking lot at the corner of Stadium Dr. and Drake Rd. after a body was found in a red, Chevy S-10 pickup truck.

Police have identified the victim as 32-year-old StepehN Heuer, of the Edwardsburg area.

Officers say it appears the body may have been in the vehicle for some time.

No cause of death was immediately apparent, but police say the cause of death will not be known until an autopsy is performed.
