Best of West Michigan 2018: Hiking-Biking Trail

When you want to hit the trails for a hike or take a bike ride where do you go?

We wanted to know the best hiking and biking paths West Michigan has to offer, and you came up with the nominees.

Number 3 on your list is Fort Custer State Park.

Your second place choice is Celery Flats, in Portage.

And your favorite place in West Michigan for a hike or bike ride is the Kal-Haven Trail.

The 34 mile, former railroad bed links the city of South Haven to the city of Kalamazoo. Along the way, the trail crosses over bridges, traverses through small towns, and passes points of historical interest.

There is still plenty of time to vote in other categories for the Best of West Michigan and view the winners so far.
