A Battle Creek woman faces life in prison after investigators said she threatened to hurt the sister of a child porn victim.

Federal investigators said the victim was in court when her sister testified in a federal trial against Michael Clayton, the father of Davi Bailey's child.

Clayton was found guilty of sex trafficking a minor and producing child porn using three girls, which included the victim's sister.

The U.S. District Attorney in Grand Rapids said Bailey sent a to the victim through Facebook. The profanity-filled threat called the victim a "rat" and said the victim's daughter won’t stop her from doing harm.

It is a federal crime to threaten someone who supports a witness in a trial. A preliminary hearing is set for Tuesday.
