B-93 Birthday Bash moves to 5/3rd Ballpark and will not be free

After 25 years, the B93 Birthday Bash is moving to Fifth Third Ballpark for a one-day event.

Changes are coming to West Michigan's biggest country music festival.

The B-93 Birthday Bash has been held at the U.S. 131 Motorsports Park in Martin all weekend long for free for the past few years, but the 2018 festival is moving to the Fifth Third Ballpark outside of Grand Rapids, it is being trimmed to one day, and will cost $34 per ticket.

Organizers said they decided to move Birthday Bash to provide better views, food options, and seating.

Tim Feagan, President of IHeart Media West Michigan, said, “It's a long day, It’s a great day but we want to make sure they walk away with the best concert experience."

The 2018 B-93 Birthday Bash concert is set for June 2.

Feagan said, "We hope people from Kalamazoo, from Battle Creek and Lansing where people always come all the way from Big Rapids come into Birthday Bash here at Fifth Third Ballpark."
