Job cuts are coming to a West Michigan manufacturer.

International Automotive Components plans to eliminate 64 hourly jobs from its plant in Mendon, Michigan. Known as IAC, the company is an international automotive interiors supplier with its North American regional headquarters in Southfield, Michigan. The company also has facilities in nine U.S. states as well as in the countries of Luxembourg, Germany, Asia, Canada, Mexico and South America.

The Mendon, Michigan, plant currently employs 500 workers.

On Friday, June 14, 2018, a company spokeswoman told Newschannel 3 that despite rumors, no plans have been announced to close the Mendon plant next year.
