KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - An arrest warrant has been issued for a person of interest in an unsolved murder, after deputies say he skipped his court date on unrelated charges.
Brent Spaulding is charged with failure to appear in a stalking and trespassing case from earlier this year.
Just a week ago, he also missed a court hearing, claiming he had been assaulted and was unable to appear.
A warrant for his arrest was authorized Wednesday.
Spaulding remains a person of interest in the unsolved murder of Erik Cross, in Vicksburg back in 1983.
