Armed teens take off with car, duffel bag in Oshtemo robbery

Two men escaped from a Kalamazoo County apartment complex parking lot with a stolen car, according to Kalamazoo County deputies.

It happened at the Seville Apartments at Drake and West KL Avenue in Oshtemo Township about 10 p.m. Monday.

Deputies said a 35-year-old Battle Creek man told them he was getting into his car in the parking lot when two teens came up to him. He told deputies one of the teens showed a handgun and demanded his duffel bag.

The suspects then took the bag and drove away in the victim's car, according to deputies.

Deputies said the suspects are believed to be in a dark blue 2018 Dodge truck with an extended cab. It has Maryland license plate: 3DD0243. The suspects are described as two black male teens with a light complexion and thin builds. One of the suspects was wearing a red hoodie, the other a black hoodie. Both were wearing black pants.
