Alert issued for Battle Creek burglary suspect after one suspect arrested
BATTLE CREEK, Mich. —
Deputies arrested one person and put out an alert for another suspect in connection to a string of burglaries in Calhoun County.
Trever Cahoon was named as a suspect in a number of break-ins and thefts in the Battle Creek area. Deputies believe he and William Jones, who was arrested, broke into houses in the Binder Park Hills subdivision.
Deputies believe Cahoon and Jones broke into three homes at the Binder Park Hills subdivision in Calhoun County on Aug. 1, 2018. The residents were home at the time of the break in and police said they got away with wallets and purses.
Deputies said the suspects got inside the homes through garage access doors and, in one case, into the kitchen.
