Two juveniles accused of breaking into Kalamazoo business, riding forklifts
KALAMAZOO, Mich. —
Two West Michigan juveniles were arrested Sunday, accused of breaking into a Kalamazoo business.
It happened just after 9 p.m. Sunday in the 2000 block of East Michigan Avenue at Wallace Avenue and Shippers Lane.
When Kalamazoo Public Safety officers arrived on scene, they said they found two young males recklessly driving forklifts inside the building.
Police said they were able to arrest one suspect as he tried to get away. A short time later, the second suspect was taken into custody.
Both are at the juvenile home facing charges for breaking and entering as well as malicious destruction of private property.
