Head distiller at Kalamazoo's Green Door to be featured on 'Master Distiller'
KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Tyler Glasser, head distiller at Green Door Distilling Co. in Kalamazoo, was set to be featured on an episode of Discovery Channel's "Master Distiller," expected to air Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2021.
Green Door representatives said in a written statement that Glasser had been hired in March 2020 after previously working in small batch distilling at FEW Spirits in Evanston, Illinois.

“Moving to Kalamazoo and joining Green Door has been an adventure from the beginning," Glasser said. "Being able to discover unique and flavorful spirits, and share them with others, is an opportunity I’m pretty grateful to have.”
During his time at FEW, Glasser won BandWith Chicago's Cocktail Clash 2019 competition, and received the 2019 Best in Class Gin honor at the American Craft Spirits Awards.

"With a passion for fermentation, cooking, and music, Tyler brings an artistic approach to his role as Head Distiller at Green Door," representatives of the company said.
The "Master Distiller" episode featuring Glasser was expected to air at 9 p.m. EST on the Discovery Channel, as well as stream on discovery+.
