Broadway star and WMU alum Marin Mazzie died
KALAMAZOO, Mich. —
Broadway star and Western Michigan University alum Marin Mazzie has died Thursday.
The actress had battled ovarian cancer for three years. She was 57-years-old.
Mazzie graduated from WMU in 1982 and performed at the Barn Theatre while she was in school.
She went on to star in several Broadway shows and was nominated for three Tony Awards for her work on "Passion", “Ragtime", and "Kiss Me Kate."
